A few things we ask of each other.
By joining the list or attending an evening, you agree to these terms. They’re short on purpose.
Who can join
You must be 21 or older to request a seat. Compa evenings are by invitation; requesting the list is not a guarantee of a seat.
The invitation is yours
When we offer you a seat, it’s for you — not transferable, not resellable. Seats can’t be bought; they’re given by hand.
The covenant
Every guest agrees to the same small rules:
- Arrive as a person, not a résumé.
- What is said at the table stays at the table.
- Phones rest at the door.
- Treat the room, the host, and each other with care.
We may decline or remove anyone who doesn’t — no refund, no debate.
Paying for an evening
Some evenings carry a fee to cover the room, the food, and the host. We’ll always tell you the cost before you commit. If you reserve a paid seat and cancel late, the fee may not be returned — a seat held is a seat someone else couldn’t take.
Texts
By giving us your number you consent to receive texts about your application and seat. Reply STOP to opt out. Carrier rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy.
Your conduct
Compa puts you in a room with strangers. Be decent. We are not responsible for the actions of other guests, and you attend of your own free will and at your own risk.
What’s ours
The Compa name, writing, and design are ours. Please don’t copy or resell them.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives here, with the date above.
